Who We Are

Our Vision Statement

"To proclaim Jesus Christ as the hope of the world"

Our Mission Statements

To see people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour

To see people thrive as followers of Jesus Christ

To see people meeting the needs of others as though meeting the needs of Jesus Christ

Everyone is welcome at St Michael’s. Whoever you are, whatever your age, gender or race; you are welcome here. We hope St Michael’s will be a place of encounter with God- a place where you will experience God’s unconditional love and free grace.

“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have entertained angels without knowing it” (Heb 13:2)

Worship and prayer are the foundation of all that we do at St Michael’s. Our worship is central to our relationship with Jesus Christ. All that we are, all that God has blessed us with we offer in worship to God.

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created” (Rev 4:11)

Giving is part of our culture at St Michael’s. We believe in giving – of our time, our talents and our treasures. Your generosity is important to us. All that we do at St Michael’s is made possible by your giving. Thank you.

‘And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”’ (Acts 20:35)

At St Michael’s, we believe that it is not enough for us to just be alive, we must thrive too. We are God’s children and God has purposes for all his children. We thrive when we live out the promises and purposes of God in our daily lives.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
